Titan

Titan is a very small white minature horse. He is being incorporated into a program horse. He loves attention, and is very receptive to children. He was born in 1999, and seems to be very happy at Wind Haven, so I am sure he will not mind also being an educational tool, recieving lots of pets and scratches.

Willie

Willie was donated to Wind Haven Horse Rescue after his previous owner put many hours of training in him, hoping he would be able to trail ride. Willie is a flashy thoroughbred/Arabian/Quarter Horse. He has a strong mind and a strong body. He has been evaluated, and trained by 2 advanced riders, one for dressage, one for reining. They both agreed: Willie needs to be ridden at least 3 times a week by an advanced rider. He has had a lot of training, and because of his strong mind and body, he will out last most riders. He is suited for hunter/jumper/dressage, endurance, and fast barrel racing. Willie was bred specifically for the show circuit, and is always ready to go. His previous owner no longer has the energy for such a powerful horse, He cares deeply for Willie and hopes he will find a home where he can be ridden and be given a job. We take Willie for regular dental check ups, and saddly his right jaw bone has fused together. This makes Willie a pasture mate for us. He can still be ridden, and very beautifully, yet only by our advanced trainer.

Beautiful Buddy

Buddy is a chestnut paint. He was born in 2000, so he will be 11 years old. Buddy is in professional training, and he is an excellent horse. He is a confident gelding that is now being ridden 2 to three times a week out on the trails. He is becoming so good we are beginning to use him as a pony horse. His suggested donation is $1000, and his value for safety is worth much more.

Tiezel

Tiezel is a large handsome black QH, with what looks like some arab features. He arrived here 9-1-09. We believe his age to be around 9-12 months of age at that time. He should be around 3 years old now, in 2011. He is in training and when he has finished his basics, we will take him out on the trails and update you of his progress.

Sciddles

Sciddles is a QH filly. We believe she was 4-5 months old when she came here with her mom Candy. She arrived in 11-09, so she would be coming up on 2 years old in 2011. She is lunging, learning change of direction, and backing with her halter. She is growing fast, and will soon be ready for riding.

Heart

Heart is a grey stock arab mare. She is coming up on 7 years old in 2011. Heart is now in training and is quite the endurance horse. Calm at the walk, yet moves up her speeds at ease. She has finished her basic training and is now being trail ridden, and working on collection in the arena. With a suggested donation of $1000. A horse that can do calm and high energy at will. We ride her weekly and you would never know her 1 issue is blindness in her right eye. Heart loves her personal soft attention and would make a life long friend.

Fire

Fire is a Pinto Arab, with one long black sock. She was born on 5-3-2000, so she will be 11 years old this coming year. She is flashy, and an easy easy keeper for being 15.2 hands. Fire is a sport horse, and ready to move. She has completed 48 ground work lessons. Fire now has to get used to someone on her back at the trot and canter. She will need at least 2 more months of training, being the energetic horse she is. Her suggested donation is $1000.

Cracker

Cracker was born here on 6-22-10. He is very cute QH, and wa gelded in spring of 2011. He is 1.5 years old, and what a cutie. He is a quick learner, and extremely compliant. He is a pleasure to work with.

Bonnie

Bonnie arrived in Aug. of 2010. She is a minature mare, that was very shy. She has overcome this and now shows our new volunteers how to be arournd horses.
