  • Our Grant Writer has been meticulously filling out paperwork.
  • Our Executive Director has been developing solar panels that are close to being installed.
  • Our Financial director has been managing funds closely, not to mention took photos for our web site, in the middle of his busy schedule.
  • I the Farm Manager have begun spring cleaning, and preparing the way for our hopefully busy new year.

We look forward to supporting our animal control agencies, veterinarians, and hopefully a few horse in between  Our goal this year is ADOPTIONS! We can only take in equal to the amount we are able to re home. Thank-You to all our volunteer staff, and those who have generously supported us.

He is being incorporated into a program horse. He loves attention, and is very receptive to children. He was born in 1999, and seems to be very happy at Wind Haven, so I am sure he will not mind also being an educational tool, recieving lots of pets and scratches.

He has a strong mind and a strong body. He has been evaluated, and trained by 2 advanced riders, one for dressage, one for reining. They both agreed: Willie needs to be ridden at least 3 times a week by an advanced rider. He has had a lot of training, and because of his strong mind and body, he will out last most riders. He is suited for hunter/jumper/dressage, endurance, and fast barrel racing. Willie was bred specifically for the show circuit, and is always ready to go. His previous owner no longer has the energy for such a powerful horse, He cares deeply for Willie and hopes he will find a home where he can be ridden and be given a job. We take Willie for regular dental check ups, and saddly his right jaw bone has fused together. This makes Willie a pasture mate for us. He can still be ridden, and very beautifully, yet only by our advanced trainer.

He was born in 2000, so he will be 11 years old. Buddy is in professional training, and he is an excellent horse. He is a confident gelding that is now being ridden 2 to three times a week out on the trails. He is becoming so good we are beginning to use him as a pony horse. His suggested donation is $1000, and his value for safety is worth much more.

He arrived here 9-1-09. We believe his age to be around 9-12 months of age at that time. He should be around 3 years old now, in 2011. He is in training and when he has finished his basics, we will take him out on the trails and update you of his progress.

When her teeth were done, the equine dentist believed her to be 7 years old in July of 2010. she is very friendly and takes a bit easily. Storm has found a permanent home as a pasture horse,1 year after giving birth to a beautiful filly. Thank-you Storm for your sweet nature.

We believe she was 4-5 months old when she came here with her mom Candy. She arrived in 11-09, so she would be coming up on 2 years old in 2011. She is lunging, learning change of direction, and backing with her halter. She is growing fast, and will soon be ready for riding.

We have taken him trail riding up to Mt. St. Helens several times; he is willing and gets better and better on every ride. He was born in 9-08, and arrived here from animal control in 4-09. He is 3 years old. Peter is now in training and is going to make us a great program horse. Peter is one of my favorites. He is now being ridden and continues to get better and better. Peter has become our WOW horse. They do not come any better than him. I have never met such a young horse, that could ride beginners.
